This policy describes how KALM Consultancy ("KALM", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through kalm.gg. We aim to be transparent: we collect what we need to operate the site and respond to your enquiries, and nothing more.

1. Who we are
KALM Consultancy is an esports consultancy headquartered at Leaf Tower, C6–C9, Sector RT4, Sultan Bin Zayed First Street, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For privacy enquiries, write to hello@kalm.gg.
2. What we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you complete the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation, and message you submit. If you opt in to email updates, we collect your email address for that purpose.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) collects standard web data: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level, with anonymised IP), device and browser type, referring URL, and broad engagement metrics. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the services or information you have requested;
- operate, maintain, and improve the website and our services;
- understand how the site is used in aggregate, so we can make it more useful;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR or equivalent regimes apply, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and for any optional email subscriptions.
- Legitimate interest — for responding to business enquiries you initiate, for site security, and for aggregate analytics.
- Contract — where we are negotiating or performing a services agreement with you.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with applicable law.
5. How we share information
We share information only with the following categories of recipient, and only as necessary:
- Service providers who help us operate the site, including our form-handling provider (Web3Forms) and analytics provider (Google Analytics);
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) where required;
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KALM, our clients, or the public.
We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own marketing.
6. How long we retain information
We retain enquiry information for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on the enquiry, and thereafter only as required by law or for legitimate record-keeping. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the standard Google Analytics retention period (currently 14 months) and may be retained in aggregate form indefinitely.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information, where we have no overriding legal basis to retain it;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

8. Cookies & tracking
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories of cookie on kalm.gg:
Essential cookies
Required for basic site operation, such as remembering your cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled without breaking parts of the site.
Analytics cookies
Set by Google Analytics 4 to help us understand aggregate site usage. These cookies are loaded only after you accept cookies via the banner. We use the IP-anonymisation feature so individual visitors cannot be identified by IP. Typical cookies set by GA4 include _ga and _ga_<property-id>, with a default expiry of up to two years.
How to manage cookies
You can decline non-essential cookies via the cookie banner shown on first visit, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies for kalm.gg in your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to block cookies entirely or to be alerted when a cookie is set.
Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they implement Do Not Track signals. We honour Do Not Track for analytics purposes where the browser sends an unambiguous signal.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information you submit, including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The site is intended for institutional and professional audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
